How much does it cost to talk to a lawyer?

How long do I have to file a personal injury claim in New Jersey?
Most New Jersey personal injury claims must be filed within two years of the accident. Claims against a public entity require a written notice within 90 days. Contact an attorney early so no deadline is missed.
Should I speak with the insurance company after an accident?
Be cautious. Adjusters may record your statement and use it to reduce your claim. Speak with an attorney before giving any recorded statement.
Will my case go to trial?
Most injury cases settle out of court. Having a trial-experienced attorney on your side strengthens your position in negotiations, and if a fair offer isn’t made, we’re prepared to go to trial.
Can I bring a claim if I was hurt at work?
Workplace injuries are usually covered by workers’ compensation. If a third party, such as another driver or equipment manufacturer, contributed to your injury, you may also have a separate personal injury claim.
What should I bring to my consultation?
Bring any accident or police reports, photos, medical records, insurance information and correspondence you’ve received. If you don’t have everything, that’s fine. We’ll help you gather it.
